More Information:

What is a Recipient Created Tax Invoice (RCTI)?

In certain situations the purchaser (ie Bean Growers Australia) is able to issue a tax invoice (known as a Recipient Created Tax Invoice) to the seller (ie you, the grower). The RCTI is issued after the purchaser (ie Bean Growers) determines the value of the goods following a qualitative or quantitative analysis (ie Bean Growers assesses the quality and weight of the soybeans when they are delivered). Bean Growers Australia is then able to pay you immediately, based on the RCTI, rather than you having to generate a tax invoice and send it to us for payment.

Quality Assurance & Grower Vendor Declarations

At Bean Growers we are continually improving our customer’s satisfaction. Grower Vendor Declarations are closely linked to building our customer’s confidence and are increasingly becoming a legal requirement. To assist with traceability a "Line Number" is assigned to your crop when it arrives at our weighbridge and stays with the crop throughout the entire process (including printing onto the finished bagged product).

Line Numbers, plus signed Grower Vendor Declaration forms, give our customers confidence in our traceability process.

This traceability and identity preservation, along with a Grower Vendor Declaration, is very important. Our marketing ability is greatly enhanced by your signed Grower Vendor Declaration - it can be the difference between making and missing a sale.

Generally speaking, by completing and signing the Grower Vendor Declaration, you are confirming the sound farming and common sense hygiene practices that you are currently doing.

Before using chemicals, it is important to check the current registration status of the chemical and to read the chemical label carefully, noting rates and any chemical withholding period. Observing the withholding periods ensure that pesticide residues are below the accepted Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs).
