For the last couple of years we’ve been donating some of our finished product bags to Ag Bags, a fundraising project assisting rural communities via Drought Angels. They collect donated feed bags and our team of volunteers re-purpose these into sturdy shopping totes. It’s a win-win outcome on many levels. Less bags discarded to landfill, less plastic at the supermarkets, and funds helping rural communities.

ABC News recently interviewed Bronwyn Parsons about their program and how it is benefiting communities suffering from the effects of our prolonged drought. (Story starts at this stream at 1:45:25)
