Kingaroy DAF Research Station

A bag of soybeans just "fell off the back of a truck" as we donated soy beans to the Department of Agriculture, Kingaroy for their important research into Red Banded Shield Bugs.

Liz Williams and her colleagues at the research station conduct very important work on behalf of our industry and growers, so we are always happy to help where we can.

DAF, (most still refer to it as DPI), has been working in Kingaroy since 1916, with the current Research Station opening in 1975. The Kingaroy Research station is known for its work in plant breeding and nutrition, weed control, pathology and entomology.

You can follow the work of the entomology team at http://thebeatsheet.com.au/
